About the plans

The questions the table doesn't answer

What counts as a room?

A lettable space — a room, a suite, a villa, a cottage. Back-of-house zones you put on the board (the kitchen, the store, the garden, the gate) are not rooms and do not count towards your plan, even though they get tasks, stock and status like everything else.

What happens when I add a sixth room?

Nothing breaks and nothing locks. You will be told you have moved past the Free plan's five rooms, and when billing starts that is the point Starter would begin. We would rather you added the room than worked around us.

Do I have to connect it to my booking system?

There is nothing to connect. HotelDsk does not talk to your PMS, your channel manager or your booking sites, and does not need to — the room board moves when a housekeeper marks a job done, not when a feed arrives. So the answer is the same whether you run Mews, a spreadsheet or a paper diary. How the two layers sit side by side →

Is there a contract or a minimum term?

No. No contract, no minimum, no notice period, no setup fee. Stop whenever you like and take your data with you.

Is there a limit on staff?

The plans are capped by rooms, not by people — a six-room guesthouse with nine staff is a normal shape and is not a reason to pay more. Larger plans unlock more roles rather than more headcount.

Do you charge for the setup help?

No. We sit with you to get your rooms, zones, checklists and stock lists right, because a property set up properly in the first afternoon is the difference between the board being used and the board being ignored. That is included on every plan, including Free.

Can I get my data out if I leave?

Yes, whenever you want, and without asking us. It is your property's data — we hold it to run the software for you and for nothing else. See the privacy policy.
